Exhibition is entitled Licht (“light”)
Expertise from the Festspielhaus was in demand for the current exhibition at the Werkraum Bregenzerwald in Andelsbuch. The exhibition is entitled Licht (“light”) and runs from 21 Oct. 2017 to 26 May 2018.
Kongresskultur Bregenz is a partner of the Werkraum Bregenzerwald – a modern exhibition space displaying regional crafts. It made 30 theatre spotlights available for the current exhibition, installed with the help of lighting director Reinhold Müller and his team of technicians.
Exhibits in focus
Thomas Geisler, executive director of the Werkraum Bregenzerwald: “We’ve collaborated with Kongresskultur for many years already, for instance on the Vlow! congress. Owing to the transparent architecture of the Werkraum building, we work with daylight and artificial light as well. These are requirements that are very well known to the lighting technicians and the same is true, of course, of the stage situation. In our current exhibition the Werkraum building becomes a stage itself, in the centre of which not people, but products stand.”
In demand elsewhere
The concept for this Werkraum show was developed by the award-winning Vorarlberg-based Atelier Gassner. For Reinhold Müller it was a major challenge was to “place 35 objects in a sharply diefined spotlight cone”. Lighting director at Bregenz Festival House, his expertise has often been in demand elsewhere too – for example in fashion shows (Wolford) and at the Bregenz Festival’s Show in the Snow in Lech am Arlberg.
