LOCATION WITH A WOW FACTOR
The lake stage in Bregenz, the Seebühne, is a lot more than just the impressive backdrop for Bregenz Festival productions. Leading companies as well as public television stations have already chosen this location to stage spectacular events.
A LOCATION LIKE NO OTHER
The world’s largest lake stage and its auditorium make the Festspielhaus Bregenz a location where it’s possible to stage extraordinary events. Here, in the summer months, up to 6,659 people at a time watch the internationally acclaimed productions of the Bregenz Festival – high culture in the open air! The venue also offers visitors a unique mountain panorama and the sight of the sun setting on the horizon, directly above the lake.
The sheer size of the stage makes it a magnet for international artists. Pop greats such as Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Supertramp, Falco, Herbert Grönemeyer, Xavier Naidoo and Udo Jürgens have performed in front of this breathtaking natural backdrop. The concerts take place on a separate stage in front of the Seebühne. This reduces the number of seats, but not the open-air feeling.
The sensational stage design of the opera productions lends a special glamour to events held in the Festspielhaus. A view of the lake stage from the lakeside event rooms or an exclusive look behind the scenes on a guided tour make the experience complete.
Thanks to our own landing stage, Lake Constance is even more within reach of your event. The ships of the Weiße Flotte fleet can be used for shuttle trips or for unforgettable evening outings on the water.
