That’s the goal of Li Bre, a hosting service for hybrid and analogue events.
Li Bre spans the eastern bay of Lake Constance between Lindau in Germany and Bregenz in Austria. It overcomes boundaries and is "free" of borders – libre in Spanish. Here, in the eastern part of the lake, you can choose between several conference locations. The main operators are the Festspielhaus Bregenz, the shipping companies Bodenseeschifffahrt of Lindau and Vorarlberg Lines, including the ship "MS Sonnenkönigin", and also the Inselhalle Lindau. Transfers between the locations can be made by boat, bus or train.
Lake Constance is a unique connecting element in a region where four countries meet: Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria. Language, transport routes, water utilisation: everything is barrier-free. This sense of community gave rise to the idea for this event format. It also allows the integration of various catering, retail, service and accommodation businesses within the catchment area. The Lake Constance region offers a wide range of accommodation including small, private lodgings, large family businesses and international hotel brands. What they all have in common is warm-hearted hospitality.

DIGITAL EVENT PLATFORM FOR HYBRID CONGRESSES
The digital event platform "Events Vorarlberg" is available as an extra service for hybrid congress formats. As a result, participants who are not physically present in the locality can take part in the conference, too. Live streams, interactive options, network functions, gamification, programme and speaker profiles as well as social media can all be integrated. The platform can also be used for registration and communication with participants.
SUSTAINABLE HOSTING
The Festspielhaus Bregenz and Convention Partner Vorarlberg are authorised to certify Green Meetings and Green Events, including cross-border event formats such as Li Bre. This service is provided free of charge. The aim is to assist organisers in holding conferences, meetings or events in a manner that complies with the ecological criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel.
With the public transport event ticket (ÖPNV-Veranstaltungsticket), participants can use the public transport network between Lindau and Bregenz free of charge.

Li Bre network
We have joined forces and jointly developed the Li Bre event format in order to facilitate conferences without borders in the Lake Constance area. Our common goal is to organise conferences and events that leave a lasting impression on participants and create meaning for everyone involved. Our location on the Lake Constance shore offers the best preconditions for achieving this.
